Jesse E Wallace, son of Thomas Brownlow Wallace and Martha (Stewart) Wallace, married Lena Rhodes, daughter of Jake and Mollie (McAdams) Rhodes in Chester County TN on 11 May 1922. He became ill with typhoid fever and died two months later on 29 Jul 1922 at age 21. His tombstone is inscribed "THY WILL BE DONE".
