Augusta Billy "Boone" Phillips A carpenter and a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana he died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans. He was 57, a native of Port Allen and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Phillips; mother, Dorothy Mae Phillips; daughter, Keisha L. Phillips; two sons, Derrick D. and Eric Jamar Phillips;
sisters, Mary Harris, Cheryl Pack, Fannie Brown, Frances Alexander, Nina Hicks, Margie Johnson, Sandra, Lisa and Angie Harmason, Toni Vaugh and Lynette Stewart; two brothers, Charles Ray Phillips and Lloyd Johnson;
godchild, Alvin Barrie; and six grandchildren, Jaelan, Jeremy, Justin, Raynah, Imari and Jordan.
