Mary Yakle Services: 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 2, at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, 209 Franklin St., Wapello. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1, funeral home. Mary Elizabeth Yakle, 43, of rural Winfield died Tuesday Sept. 26, 2006, at the Great River Medical Center at West Burlington. The Rev. Dan Doolin will officiate. Burial will follow at the Wapello Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established to benefit of spinal research. She was born March 30, 1963, in Monmouth, Ill., to Curt and Elizabeth A. Ahrenhold Eisenmayer. She married Steve P. Yakle on July 30, 1983, in Stronghurst, Illinois. She graduated from Southern High School, Stronghurst, with the class of 1981. She attended Southeastern Community College. She worked as a nurse aide at various care facilities, and worked at IAAP. She was also a bartender and had worked as a clerk at the liquor store. She enjoyed her cats and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Steve; her father, Curt Eisenmayer, of Stronghurst; a son, Christopher Yakle, of Muscatine; a daughter, Allison Yakle, at home; a brother, Tom Eisenmayer of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Kathy Kimble of St. Louis, Mo., and Peggy Olsen of Kansas City, Mo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth "Betty."
