On his death certificate "Anna Abbott" is listed as his wife's name but I wonder if his mother just put her name in the wrong place? I found the following:
Homer Abbott married Mina Leona Mullin July 11, 1909, in Madison County, Indiana. She was born Oct. 22, 1889. They had two children Wayne & Norma. In 1920 Wayne was 8 & Norma was 5.
Leona married William Briley Aug. 21, 1920, in Madison County, IN.
Died of chronic mitral Insufficiency (heart issues).
