His first married was to Harriet Margaret Walton for 25 years. There were three children Charles Herschel, Mary Margaret, and Gloria Susan. He was married to Mildren White for a short time. His third wife was Elizabeth Hooker there were no children from these wives. He had one sister Florence Jeanette Wiitala, she pass soon after he did. He is survived by many grand children and great neices and nephews.
