He was united in marriage with Miss Catherine Lallier in April 1877.
Surviving, besides his wife, are ten children, Mrs. Ludwig (Laura) Bush, Lowville; Mrs. Henry Turck, Mrs. Wesley Bockenheim and Mrs. Elmer Campany, of Croghan; Miss Elizabeth Bush, Albany; Henry Bush, Harvey Bush, Lowville; Albert, Anselm and Leslie Bush, of this place, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Higby, of this place.
