In 1936 her family moved to Genoa, Nebraska where Donna attended school and graduated from Genoa High School in 1948. She moved back to Columbus in the 1950's and married William Cejka in Columbus. Donna worked at the West End Grocery for several years until going to work for Minnegasco until retirement. She was a member of St. Luke's Church where she was actively involved. Donna was very active in the Chamber of Commerce, Art Gallery, Friends of Music and a Hospital Volunteer. She was a charter member of the American Business Women's Association.
