GRANBY, CT - Gloria M. (Mundell) (Seery) Justo, R.N., 79, of Granby, beloved wife of Gilbert F. Justo, passed away Thursday, (June 21, 2012) with her family by her side. Born August 4, 1932 in Brookfield, MA daughter of the late Ralph and Helena (Carlson) Mundell. She lived in Hazardville before moving to Granby 44 years ago.

Gloria graduated from Worcester Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and has been a member of the Alumni Association. She was the school nurse at Ethel Walker School, Simsbury and worked at the Hughes Convalescent Home, West Hartford. In additions to her nursing career she also worked at the Village Bakery, Simsbury and Grampa's Bakery, Granby with her husband, Gil. Gloria was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Tariffville and was a member of the Home Prayer Group and a Sunday School Teacher. Besides her husband Gil, she is survived by a son, James Seery and his wife, Margaret of Granby; three daughters: Jayne Keenan and her husband Joseph of West Granby, Jennifer Miller and her husband Robert of New Marlboro, MA, Joan Burkhart and her husband Ronald of Granby; three brothers: Richard Mundell and his wife Kathy of WV, Roger Mundell and his wife Barbara of Brook-field, MA, Ralph Mundell and his wife Diane of Brookfield, MA; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2012, 10 AM, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Church St., Tariffville. Burial will be in Granby Cemetery, Granby. Her family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 PM at Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Farmington Valley VNA, 8 Old Mill Lane, Simsbury, CT 06070.
