WEST LIBERTY - Mrs. Leota Harriet Waite, 83. of 912 Columbus St., West Liberty, died Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Muscatine General Hospital following a heart attack.
The daughter of Gad and Harriet (Kile) James, she was born April 28, 1883 at West Liberty.
She married Charles Waite on Dec. 15, 1912 at West Liberty.
She was former practical nurse.
Survivors include one sort. Ed Waite of West Liberty; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, seven brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 27. at 2:30 p. m. at the Snider funeral home with Rev. H. C. Hafermann officiating. Interment will be at the Oakridge cemetery.
