Minnie B. Ervine

Minnie B. Ervine, 87, widow of Andrew Ervine died Sunday morning at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home where she had been a patient since 1960.

She was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky on May 16, 1876, to John K. and Anna Hensey Hopkins. She had lived in Connersville, Indiana since 1917 and was a member of the Grand Avenue Methodist Church. Her husband, Andrew Ervine, whom she married on Oct. 5, 1892,in Aberdeen, Brown County, Ohio, died on Jan. 25, 1955.

Survivors include eight children, John C. Ervine of Alpine, Indiana; Vernon Ervine of Celina, Ohio; Albert C. Ervine of South Bend, Indiana; Tony, Ernest Ervine and Mrs. James Cullison of Connersville, Indiana; Mrs. Cleveland Hamilton and Mrs. Ray Studebaker of Muncie, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. Gertie Bromegin of Nicholas County, Kentucky; Clarence Hopkins of Nicholas County, Kentucky; Oliver K. Hopkins of Pendleton, Indiana and William J. Hopkins of Connersville, Indiana; a number of Granchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at Myers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
