Born March 12, 1921, in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of Asa Clofton Allen and Baby Ruth Wright Allen.
She was a graduate of Brosville High School. She worked for Hooker Furniture Factory and Pannill Knitting Mill.
She was married to the late Clay Vann Dillion, who died Jan. 4, 1990.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Dillion Donavant of Axton and Patsy Dillion Barrow of Martinsville; four sons, Darrell Van Dillion of Salem, Dennis Wayne Dillion of Cascade, Duane Clay Dillion of Cascade and Steven Wallace Dillion of Cascade; two brothers, Asa Clifton Allen of Danville and Oscar Love Allen of Eden, N.C.; six grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by five sisters, Florence Booth, Lelia Curry, Madie Allen, Janey McVay, and Dolly Tomey; a brother, Thurmond Allen.
Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
