Another note from Lauren indicates the following:
"My family notes show she died 7/30/1933 at age 38, but I have not yet found any official record of her death or burial."

Ashley Ball, of Strother, Monroe Co, MO & Grace Bedford, of Molino, Audrain Co, MO were married by Probate Judge, W.W. Botts, in Mexico, Audrain Co, MO on Aug. 9, 1915.

On Jan. 20, 1920,
Grace & her husband, Ashley D. Ball, ages 25 & 23, and their sons, Thomas, age 3, & Ashely, 1, were living on a farm in South Fork, Monroe Co, MO with Grace's widowed father, Thomas Bedford, age 74. Other members of the house hold included Grace's sister, Anna Bedford, age 32. Ashley was helping with the farm work.

At this time nothing more can be found about Grace.

Justice Reed Wright yesterday announced the marriage of Ashely D. Ball of Seneca and Pearl Jones of Neosho."

"Ashley D. Ball, Jr., 72, Seneca route 2, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at his home of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Mr. Ball was born Jan. 1, 1919, at Nettleton, Ark. He had lived for 32 years on Seneca route 2, where he and his wofe owned and operated Helen's Package Store and Service station.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. He received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Seneca.

He married Helen King on April 26, 1940, at Bentonville, Ark. She survives.

Additional survivors include five sons, Edwin D. Ball, Gary D. Ball, Terry W. Ball and Ashley "Randall" Ball, all of Wyandotte, OK and Marvin J. Ball, Litte Rock, AR; a daughter, Pamela L. Hembree, Neosho; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday at Seneca Cemetery. Harold Reaves, minister, officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home."
