A. B. Uber, aged 83 years, one of the oldest and best known residents of Millburg and former resident of this city, died Sunday morning, suddenly at his home as the result of a stroke which he suffered Saturday. Mr. Uber was born in London, Mercer county, September 15, 1840, and had lived in that community until 1898 when he moved to this city later removing to his home at Millburg. On April 14, 1863, he was united in marriage to Hannah Cribbs who survives him with three children: Harry B. Uber and Mrs. Ann Francis at home, and Mrs. Ralph Day, of this city. Last April Mr. and Mrs. Uber celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary. Mr. Uber was a member of the Fourth Presbyterian church of this city. Funeral services will be conducted from his home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his home. Burial will be made in the Carpenter cemetery.
