Mrs. Ottie Mac Boland, 2836 Columbia Avenue, died at 8:45 yesterday morning at the Columbia Hospital. She had been in declining health for two years.,
She was a native of Richland County, daughter of the late Hayne H. Hair and Corrie Bookman Hair. She was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation.
Survivors include her husband, Capt. Ernest H. Boland, Sr., of the Columbia Fire Department, three daughters and a son by her first marriage, Mrs. Clyde Sutherland, Mrs. Grever Derrick and Pam M. Scott and J. Q. Ballentine, all of Columbia, two sons by her second marriage, Roland L. Boland and Ernest H. Boland Jr., four sisters, Mrs. Ed Boulware of Shaton, Mrs. Paul Ross of Blaney, Mrs. Roy Rabon and Mrs., James Boozer of Columbia, a brothers Heyward Hare of Spencer, N. C. and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, conducted by Dr. Wynne C. Bolick, assisted by Dr. Karl W. Kinard.
Interment will follow in the family plot at Elmwood Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Earl Hair, Harold Hair, Tom Boozer, Ray Rabon Jr., H. C. Boulware and Paul Ross Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be The member of the church council, Chief A. Mc Marsh, C. T. Graydon, Andrew Feagan, T. Alex Heise, John W. Crews, F. D. Beattie, Earl Craig, W. H. Morris, W. A. Joyner, H. B. Dickert, Fred Harmon, T. W. Sawyer, Ross Dent, F. B. DuBois Sr., Jerome Goforth, Wilson Davis and Charlie Dent.
