King was the eldest living child of John & Josephine. He died of the flu in 1918. Apparently, he was quarantined along with others in a school in Moose Jaw and decided he had to leave. He collapsed and died part way across the school grounds. His brother, Joseph, died less than two weeks later, also of the flu.
