Mrs. Joseph (Arlene) Berres, 56, of 2000 Johnson Drive, Manitowoc, died Saturday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Berres was born July 30, 1922, in Maribel. She was educated in Manitowoc public schools. She was married to Harold Budsberg. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 1961. She was then married to Joseph Berres June 10, 1965, in Manitowoc. Mrs. Berres was a member of Holy Innocents Parish.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph; a son, David Budsberg of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David (Marlene) Franz of Manitowoc; a stepdaughter, Mrs. David (Rae Anne) Pingle of Manitowoc; a stepfather, Mr. Charles Acker of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Florence) Mraz of Manitowoc, Mrs. James (Loretta) Sands of Cleveland, and Mrs. Marion LeClaire of Manitowoc, and a granddaughter Heather Lynn.
Friends may call in the funeral home from 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday afternoon where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 o'clock.
