Mrs. Anna Bem, 69, died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Wilmer Haese, 1012 North 16th street. She had been ill for several months.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. from the St. John's
Evangelical church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. The deceased,
whose maiden name was Anna Rathsack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Rathsack, Sr., was born in this city in in 1871. She was married in 1893
to Arthur Bem. Deceased was a member of the Ladies Aid society of the
Evangelical church. Suvivors are a daughter, Mrs. Wilmer Haese, city; a
son, Arthur, Milwaukee: three brothers, William, Louis and Charles Rathsack,
city; and a sister, Mrs. Ella Ziglinski, city. The body is at the Pfeffer
funeral home and will be removed to the church at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday where
it may be viewed until the hour of the funeral.
