EUNICE C. BECKER
Mrs. Grover Becker, 63, of Rt. 2, Salem, Wis., former Manitowoc resident,
died early Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Wis.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Clement P.
Kern will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Eunice La Pointe was born May 11, 1896, at Gladstone, Mich.,
daughter of the late Frank and Francis Le Claire La Pointe. She was married
Sept. 13, 1916, at Gladstone and the couple resided two years at Two Rivers,
moving to Manitowoc in 1936. The couple moved to Detroit in 1947 and two
years ago went to Salem. Mr. Becker is a barber.
Mrs. Becker is survived by the husband, three sons, Grover Jr., of Salem,
Allen of Manitowoc and Chief M-Sgt. Clayton with the United States Air Force
at Plattesburgh, N.Y.; mother, Mrs. Frank La Pointe of Gladstone; two brothers,
Frank of Alpena, Mich., and Armand of La Crescenta, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs.
Dougal Grey of Munising, Mich., and Mrs. Roy La Cosse of Gladstone; and 13
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at
7:45 o'clock this Monday evening.
