Amanda I. Becker, 97, of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, formerly of 1305 Philippen Street, Manitowoc, died late Friday morning, June 7, at Park Lawn Home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Becker was born September 21, 1887, at Maribel, daughter of the late William and Ottilia Habeck Rabenhorst. She lived in the Maribel area until 1925 when she and her husband moved to Manitowoc. She married William Becker on November 7, 1907, at Maribel. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1960. Mr. Becker was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Hugo and Dorothy Becker of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Clayton Bourcki of Manitowoc and Edna and Lyle Kurtz of Chilton; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
There will be no Sunday evening visitation at the funeral home. Friends may call at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, 11 a.m. Monday until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
