Mrs. Mary A. Korns, widow of the late James Korns, died at her home in the country, four miles east of this city, at four o'clock last Friday afternoon, September 21, 1894, after an illness of one year with cancer, aged 48 years, 7 months and 1 day. The deceased was born and reared and has always resided in this county. She was the sister of Captain Daniel Sweaney [Sweany], of this city, and Mrs. Chas. Rittenhouse, of Marietta, Ohio.
