John A. Crabb II
John A. Crabb, II, passed away on January 16, 2005, at the North Kansas City Hospital. He was born on October 31, 1922, in Topeka, KS, and was a graduate of Topeka High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. John married Madge Sledd in 1943. He was a captain in the US Army and was veteran of WWII. He was retired after 30 years of working at the MidWest Conveyor Co., and had been a longtime member of the American Guild of Organists. John and his late wife Madge were founding members of St. Luke Presbyterian Church. He was an active member of the church choir. He was preceded in death by his wife Madge Crabb. He is survived by his two daughters, Shary Keehler, Pleasant Valley, MO, and Deanna Frank, LaMirada, CA; as well as his siter Mary Carolyn Cofer, Independence, MO. Additional survivors included three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 18 at St. Luke Presbyterian Church. Services will be held at the church on Wednesday, January 19 at 10:30 am., with burial following in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
