Obituary for Perry Irving Keyser Jr.

Perry I. Keyser, Jr., 68, was an extreme cancer fighter for six years. He received his ultimate healing on July 26, 2012.

He was born September 11, 1943 to Perry Sr. and Marguerite Keyser. He received his Masters of Education from Central State University and taught high school special education for 38 years. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran as a Clinical Psychology Specialist and taught soldiers how to read. He was a life-long member of the First United Methodist church. Perry was a faithful Red Cross blood donor and had received his 40-gallon pin.

He married Peggy Castine Keyser in January 1966 and was a devoted father to Suzi Keyser-Pickle, Mark Keyser, and Kristie Keyser-Eppler. He also leaves behind his brother and best friend, Michael Keyser and his Aunt Betty Kennedy.

A memorial service celebrating Perry's life will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Okmulgee with Reverend Brian Matthews and Reverend Loma Sullivan officiating. Services will conclude at the church.

The Keyser family suggests memorials in his name be made to Clare House in Tulsa, Ok or the Cancer Society.
