Born in Bellville, Texas, David and his family moved to Santa Cruz in 1967 when he accepted an engineering position with Lockheed Missiles and Space Company at their Santa Cruz Facility on Empire Grade.
David will be missed by his wife, Iris, their 2 sons and families, Reese, Cathy and Alexander Frank of Woodland Hills and Jonathan, Gina and Ethan Frank of Los Gatos as well as other family members and friends.
