Waterloo, Oct. 24 (Special) - Mrs. Sallie Fuller Smith, 73, widow of James Preston Smith died suddenly this morning at the home of Mrs. David C. Smith after declining health of several years. She was a native of Laurens County and spent most of her life in the Waterloo community. She was the daughter of Calvin and Estelle Coleman [should be Susan Estelle] Fuller. survivors include one sister, Mrs. John N. Sims of Central; four half sisters, Mrs. Ida Geer of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. W. G. Wallace of Clinton, Miss Genevieve Fuller of Anderson, and Mrs. Furman Reagin of Newberry; three half brothers, Harold and Wharton Fuller of Charlotte, NC and Edwin Fuller of Newberry. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday from the Waterloo Methodist Church by the Rev. J. F. Lupo. Burial will be in Waterloo Cemetery. The body will be at the Kennedy Mortuary and will be taken to the church at 9:30 A.M. The family will be at the home of Mrs. David C. Smith.
Pallbearers will be Niles Clark, Jr., Billy Golding, Joe Neal, William McNeill, Jr., T. F. Smith, and J. L. Fennel. Honorary escort will be E. B. Robinson, E. V. Golding, W. Y. McNeill, I. P. Moore, Frank Mack, Henry Sims, John W. Coleman, Clyde Teague, Rex Lanford, J. H. Powell, Niles C. Clark, Ernest Riser, Steely Blum, Dr. J. C. Harriosn.
