Mary M. "Mamie" Peebles was born on February 1877, in Lonaconing, Md., the daughter of John Douglas Peebles and Rachel Marion (Morgan) Peebles. She was the fifth child born of the 10 children; the third daughter.
She was married on June 21, 1900 at the First Methodist Church of Lonaconing to Henry Price by the Reverend John L. Walsh. Henry was the son of John Price and Margaret Glencarin Atkinson Price.
Henry and Mary "Mamie" had one son who died at birth.
She died April 24, 1933 in Washington, DC. They were first buried with the Peebles' Family in Oak Hill, Lonaconing and then transferred to Frostburg Memorial Park.

Price Lonaconing, Md., April 27— Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Peebles Price, aged 57 years, widow of Henry Price, who died Monday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs Charles S. Nix, 4700 Connecticut Avenue, Washington, D. C., were held at the home of her mother, Rachel Peebles, Church Street, this place, yesterday afternoon with the Revs. Bert Constance, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, this place, and Harry Evaul, Cumberland, officiating. The services were largely attended by friends from Washington, D C.; Frostburg, Cumberland, and other nearby towns. The pallbearers were James B. McAIpine, Thomas Holmes, and Thomas A. Dixon, Lonaconing, and Clifton Jeffries, Alex Close and Oliver Simmons, Frostburg. Interment was in Allegany Cemetery, Frostburg.
