Marcelino "Moose" Madril García, was born on June 23, 1929 and passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 29, 2010.
Marcelino is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Zamora García and his children, Judy Jirón and her husband, Bob, Leonard García and his wife, Lala, Vicki García and Dan García and his wife, Jennifer, grandchildren Krishna, Michelle, Josh, Christina, Matthew, Danielle, Aidan and Miranda and great-grandchildren Jacob and Jenika.
Marci was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Fermina García, siblings, Melina Chávez, Emilia Chávez and Pricilla Gabaldón.
Marci was born in Belén, New Mexico.
Marci lived and raised his family in Albuquerque where he worked at Kirtland AFB as a high voltage Electrician. After 25 years of service at the base he and Helen retired and moved to Elephant Butte, in 1989.
Rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., reception to follow at the parish hall. Interment to be held at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Belén Memorial Gardens in Belén, New Mexico.
In lieu of flowers make donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Truth or Consequenes, New Mexico or the American Cancer Society.
