"Judson" was the son of Reuben and Mehitable Jane (Drew) Huntley.

Helen Stuart is listed as his wife in "Narrative of the Town of Machias, the Old and the New, the Early and Late" By George Washington Drisko. No documentation to support this marriage. No documentation of children born of the union.

Married Matilda "Ellen" Steward at St. John, New Brunswick on June 1868, divorced July 1870. Documentation of dates in divorce papers. No documentation of children born of this union. Ellen Steward is likely the "Helen Stuart" referenced by Drisko.

According to Ellen's divorce application, Judson married Mary Lovice Bimson while still married to Ellen. Children of Mary and Judson were Geneva Adavilla and William Huntley. (Parentage supported by birth, marriage, death documents.)

Married Mrs. Mary J. (Hodgkins) Corliss Aug. 1888. At that time, Mary was still married to Mr. Corliss who then divorced her. (Documented in Charles Corliss's divorce papers.)

Children of Mary Hodgkins and Judson were George, Llewellyn, and Byron Huntley.

Judson was rumored to have died at sea but, according to his death certificate, actually died of TB in Steuben, Maine.

Mis-information about my great-grandfather has been copied from one genealogy site to another. Please use the above information to make corrections. Please contact me if you have additional knowledge of Judson's colorful life.

No permanent grave marker.

A brother, Daniel Huntley.
