She was born Dec 22, 1922, in Meriden N.H., a Daughter of Newell Grover and Daisy (Town) Chapman.. She attended Meriden Elementary School and then Lebanon High School, Graduating with in the class of 1940. In May of 1936 she joined the Meriden Congregational Church and at the time of her death, she held the oldest membership. She spent many happy hours there in her growing up years. On june 1, 1941, she was married to Joseph R Bosley at the Bryant Memorial Personage in Meriden. Laura was a charter member of the Town family Association which honors her Mother's ancestry. She was employed by H.W. Carter and Sons in Lebanon for over 38 Years.
Laura enjoyed sewing, reading doing Genealogy, spending time with her family and most of all with her Husband; weather it be fishing, hunting, watching Pro Football or just being together.
She was predeceased by her Husband Joshph; her two sons David and Thomas;her Granddaughter Cindy Haley; a sister Lena C Bosley and her Brather Frank Chapman.
She is survived by her Grandchildren, Connie Thompson of Weathersfield VT.,Cathy Swafford of Ohio, Stephan Bosley of Springfield Vt. and Michael Bosley who is currently serving in the Armed Services. A Sister Eva F Hale and several special step-Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. As well as many other soecial and dear people in her life, inclding Richard Stebbins.
At Laura's request there will be no calling hours. A Graveside service in the Mill Cemetery in Meriden will be announced at a later date. Ricker Funeral Home and Crematory in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements. Messages of sympathy can be left for the family at www.rickerfuneralhome.com.
