Carroll Plummer Waggoner, age 90, of College Station, went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 9, 2012, surrounded by his family.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, at Hillier Funeral Home with Chuck Durham, minister of Twin City Church of Christ, officiating.
Carroll was born August 23, 1921 in Clyde, Texas, to James Earl and Rosetta (Burnett) Waggoner. He married to his wife of 63 years, Daisy (Hicks) Waggoner, on January 8, 1949 in Fort Worth. He spent most of his life working as a water superintendent, first in Hobbs, N.M. and later transferring to College Station in 1972 to work for TEEX. Proudly serving his country during WWII, he was a member of the U.S. Army Air Force.
He was preceded in death by six brothers.
