Quanah – James Allen "Jim" Lincycomb, 73, died Friday, April 24, 1998. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Young officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Price-Jackson Funeral Home.

Mr. Lincycomb was born in Kirkland, . He was a World War II veteran and served in the Coast Guard from 1942 until 1943. After his basic training in Florida, he was stationed in Puerto Rico. Mr. Lincycomb retired as an electrician for West Texas Utilities. He then worked at the Lake Pauline Power Plant. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He married Sarah Ann Schultz in 1954 at Fort Stockton.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bill Lincycomb of Garland and Jim Lincycomb of Winters; a daughter, Gina Daugherty of Quanah; five sisters, Izaddia Subia, Clara Quary and Bessie Etheridge, all of Pampa, Helen Pierce of Jay, Okla., and Donnie Ralston of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
