Isabelle V. Avise, 82, Sarasota and formerly of Manatee County, died Jan. 19, 2004.
She was born May 29, 1921, in Yates City, Ill., and came to the area in 1959 from Dallas City, Ill. She was a homemaker and a Protestant.
Survivors include a daughter, Sally Roberts of Tennessee; sons Richard of Sun City Center and Dennis of Tarpon Springs; sisters Katryn Anderson and Elizabeth Bridwell; a brother, Don Rogers; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton. Ellenton Funeral Home is in charge.
