Billy Ray "Bill" McGregor of Stratford, OK, passed away June 22, 2012, at Norman, OK, at the age of 80 years 10 months and 17 days.
Bill was born August 5, 1931, in Blair, OK, to Mae Belle (Winters) and John Dalton McGregor. He grew up in Blair and Pauls Valley.
He was married to Martha Lou (Jonas) McGregor at Blair, Oklahoma, on June 8, 1950. They moved to Wynnewood in 1961. He spent the rest of his life in this area. He had Owned and Operated Royal Coach Maufacturing Company in Wynnewood and had also worked on his own ranch. He was a member of New Beginnings Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister,Wanda Morrison.
Survived by his wife, Martha Lou McGregor, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Toby Moore of Wynnewood, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Ray and Sharyn McGregor of Stratford, OK; son, Billy Keith McGregor of McAlester, OK; two brothers, Tommy McGregor of Norman, OK; Kenneth McGregor of Shawnee, OK; two sisters, Ruth Stephens of Ardmore, OK; Othella Walker of Gene Autry, OK; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shane McGregor, Damian McGregor, Michael Rogers, Earl Helm, Larry Mosley, Chris McGregor.
Services will be held Tuesday June 26, 2012, at 10:00 AM at New Beginnings Church east of Stratford, OK. Officiated by Rev. Charles McGregor and Rev. Chris McGregor. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, OK. Services under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home of Stratford, OK.
