Graveside services for Richard Earl "Stickhorse" Kidd, 68, of Chandler are scheduled for Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. in New Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff McDonald officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Kidd died July 23, 2012, in Tyler. He was born Nov. 10, 1943, in New Hope.
He was preceded in death by his father, Verdon Kidd; and niece, Kimberly Yura.
Survivors include mother, Edna Kidd Welch of Chandler; sons, Ricky Campbell of Caddo Mills, Scott Knight of Japan, Randy Kidd of Florida, Kevin Kidd of Chandler; sisters, Jennie Tew and husband Ray, Kathy Nipp and husband Dwayne, Penny Yura and husband John; grandchildren, Kayla Kidd, Cara Kidd, Risa Knight; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association .
Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.
