The Daily Record, Monday April 6, 1970: Claude Crabtree, 66, died Saturday at the Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital after a long illness.
he was born April 23, 1903 in Ft. Gay, W. Va., and lived in Wayne County, W. Va., until coming here 26 years ago.
he was employed for 25 years at the Packaging Corp of America, until retiring in 1968.
he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nora; two songs, Claude, Jr. and Clyde of the home, two daughters, Joyce and Mrs. Janice Long, two brothers, Fred and Willie; five sisters, Mrs. Ella Perrow, Mrs. Ruby Ramey, Mrs. Toka Holland, Mrs. Georgia Hall and Mrs. Bertha Woodring and a grandson.
Services at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. William K. McComas officiating.
