Don Lavern Jackson, 53, of Allison, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. He was born on February 2, 1959, in Allison, Iowa, to Orville and Dorothy (Rector) Jackson. Don graduated from the Allison-Bristow High School in Allison and also attended Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo. He was a member of the Aplington Baptist Church. Don owned and operated a TV and VCR repair business in rural Allison. He also enjoyed carpentry and farming. Don is survived by his son Jeremy (Sherri) Jackson of Parkersburg, son Kenny Jackson of Ackley, daughter Brooke (Luke) Brosvik of Spokane Valley, Washington, son Keith Jackson of Nashua, grandchildren Blake, Taylor, Audrey, Sommer and Tristan. He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Dorothy, brother Dean and infant brother Keith.

Burial will take place in the Dumont Cemetery. Show less
