Rosalyn Thach Winslow Gray died Sept. 1, 2004 in Salt Lake City. The stars were dancing on August 25, 1925 when she was born in Hertford, North Carolina to Ben and Elizabeth Winslow. She married Arnold W. Gray at Park Place Methodist church, Norfolk, Virginia February 21st, 1946 and came to Salt Lake City with him in March 1946. He preceded her in death February fourth 1988. Their home was blessed with five children. Rosalyn wrote a few poems, painted a few pictures and planted a garden. She restored old furniture. Life was pretty good. She leaves behind children, Bill (preceded in death) and his wife Louise, Melanie, Sid and his wife Ione, Jack, Robert and his wife Becky and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers Jack Winslow, Salt Lake; Laurence Winslow, Hertford, N.C; sisters Joyce Hobbs, Hertford, N.C; Sarah Forsland, Edenton, N.C; and nephews and nieces. Funeral services held Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004 at the Wasatch Lawn Funeral Home at 3401 Highland Dr. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
