Mae Jacobs of 42 West 27th Avenue, Eugene passed away May 24, 1968. She was born March 12, 1893 in St. George, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, June 3, 1965. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter-day Saints, First Ward, Eugene. She is survived by her son, John, of Springfield, a daughter, Cleo Mae Pratt of Idaho Falls, Idaho, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister; Josephine Hanks of La Grande. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 27, at 2 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints, First Ward, 1185 10th Avenue West, Eugene. Bishop Milton J. Snowball officiating. Buell Chapel in charge. Those who wish may make donations to the L.D.S. First Ward Building Fund. Due to the family's request the casket will remain closed after the service. Those who wish may visit Mrs. Jacob in the Chapel anytime Sunday.
