28 April 1932 - The Tipton Advertiser

Wayne Herman Bock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bock of Anamosa, Ia., was born at Wheatland, Iowa, March 28, 1926 and passed away at Anamosa, Iowa, after an illness of three weeks, April 25, 1932, age 6 years and 26 days.

He leaves to mourn his early death his grief stricken parents, one sister, Arlene, four brothers, Carl Jr., Robert, Darrell and Harold Gene, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Regennitter of Massillon, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Bock, of Tipton, Iowa, also twenty-five cousins, a number of aunts and uncles and a host of friends.

Little Wayne was a brilliant child in school and will be greatly missed by his schoolmates and in the home where he has been a bright sunbeam for six happy years and where no one can take his place.

O parents, weep not for your for loved one, as the long days come and go. Why should your heads be bent with sorrow, and your fears so freely flow? Could you wish your darling angel here on earth with you again--back from home of wondrous beauty in this world of care and pain?

God had given! He has taken. Why it is we cannot tell. You may trust your loved one with Him, for He doeth all things well.

May he be your guardian angel, in that land where all is fair--just beyond the river Jordan, Wayne awaits to meet you there.

The funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday, April 26, by the Rev. Otis Moore of Bennett, Ia., and the body was laid to rest at the Inland cemetery at Bennett, Ia.
