Obituary of Jacob J Petersheim
OAKLAND-Jacob J Petersheim, 69, died yesterday at his home near here. He had been ill for the past four years. Born in Aurora, WV, May 30, 1892, he was a son of t he late Jonas C. and Barbara (Schlabach) Petersheim. A farmer, he had resided in the Gortner community the past 60 years. Surviving are his widow, Anna (Wengerd) Petersheim, one son, John Petersheim, at home; and two daughters, Esther and Lydia Petersheim, at home; two brothers, Eli Petersheim, Smithville, Ohio and Daniel Petersheim, Oakland and one grandson. The body is at the Leighton Funeral Home. Services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Amish Church near Gortner, by Bishop Norman Schrock. Interment will be in Schlabach Cemetery.
