The funeral service for former DuPont employee David Harold Duncan of Huntingdon will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Ronnie McClure will officiate.
Burial will be in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
David Duncan, 78, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Locally, he leaves a brother: Daniel Duncan of Buchanan.
Born Aug. 11, 1933, in Centerville, he was a son of the late Grady and Martha Virginia DePriest Duncan.
Duncan was a 1952 Trezevant High School graduate and former University of Tennessee at Martin student. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and formerly worked as a repairman for DuPont in New Johnsonville. He worked for Texas Instruments in Dallas as a electronic technician and then worked for IBM in Dallas, Boulder, Colo., and Memphis as a field engineer, repairing computers.
He also leaves one daughter: Janice Carol Duncan of Providence, R.I.; one son: Dwayne Ezell Duncan of Kenosha, Wis.; one other brother: Donald Joseph Duncan of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister: Marlene Williams of Nashville; five grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter: Alice Margret Duncan Eskew; three sisters: Mary Hinson, Jane Crawford and Melba Singleton; and a brother: Dorris Paul Duncan.
