Loving mother of Ann Bisch (Michael Shapcott), Heather Wombwell, Ed (Butch) Hasenpflug (Louise). Dear Grandma to Arlen, Andrea, Zachary Hasenpflug; Katherine Wombwell; and Nicole and Malcolm Shapcott Ramsay. Catherine will also be missed by her best friend and constant companion Cordelia. Dear sister-in-law of Gerda Zehr, Elaine Zehr, Laurel and Menno Martin, Mary Hasenpflug, and Esther Temple (Herbie) and their families. Pre-deceased by her parents Peter R. and MaryAnn Zehr and brothers Harley, Horace and Elwood. Catherine's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception. Pastor James Koellner officiating. Following the reception interment will take place at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, St. Jacobs.
