Herbert E. Baryenbruch, 66, of 955 Lincoln Blvd , Manitowoc, died Saturday
morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Ninth and Pine streets, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H.
Unke will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Baryenbruch was born April 22, 1908, at Newtonburg, son of the late
Henry and Amelia Matthias Baryenbruch. He attended Lincoln High School of
Manitowoc. He married Irene Pleuss Sept 16, 1931, at St. John Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Newtonburg, residing at Manitowoc. From 1929 until 1958
he was employed at Quality Fruit and Grocery Co as a salesman. From 1958
until the present time he was associated with Northern Food Products Co.
and for the past three years held the position of manager. He was a member
of Immaneul Evangelical Lutheran Church and served on the church council
for nine years. He was past president of the Congregation and a past member
of the Men's Club of the church.
Survivors include his wife, a son-in-law and daughter, (private); two
sisters, Mrs. Rudolph (Erna) Jaehnig and Mrs. Hattie Haupt, of Manitowoc
and a granddaughter, (private). Four brothers and two sisters preceded him
in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to
9 o'clock this Monday afternoon and at the church from noon Tuesday until
the time of service. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
School building fund.
