Reinhold F. Baruth, 72, of 1124 S. 18th st., Manitowoc, died at home Friday
evening after a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Baruth was born Feb. 22, 1891, at Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Henry
and Fredricka Raether Baruth. He married Inga Madsoon Nov. 14, 1912, at Gjerpen
Church, Cato, and the couple farmed in the area for several years before coming
to Manitowoc. He was engaged in the automobile business until 1941 and was then
employed at Manitowoc Engineering Co., until retiring in 1960.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Elton and Arthur, a brother, George, two
sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mueller and Mrs. Charles Tills, and five grandchildren of
Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Sunday until 10:30 a.m. Monday when the casket will be moved to the church where
the body will lie in state until time of service.
