Mrs. George (Olga) Baruth, 89, of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died early Friday evening, Aug. 3, in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Vicar Mark Lindner will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Baruth, nee Olga Ludwig, was born Aug. 27, 1889, in Newtonburg, Wis., daughter of the late John and Anna Kieselhorst Ludwig. She was married to George Baruth Oct. 28, 1912, in Newtonburg, Wis. They moved to Manitowoc after their marriage, residing here since. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary last year. Mr. Baruth was a member of the Ladies Aid of the church.
Survivors include her husband, George; a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Valeria Baruth of Diamond City, Ark.; a daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Louis Mrozinski of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nora Bunk in 1973; a grandson, Dale Bunk in 1971; three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until 11:30 a.m. when the casket will be moved to church to lie in state there from noon until the time of service.
