HELEN T. BARUTH

Helen T. Baruth, age 75, of 1433 Gunnell Lane, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening,
July 28, 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 1996, at First
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Richard Lind will officiate with burial of
her cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born February 87, 1921, at Marshfield, Wis., daughter of the late Francis
and Gertrude Brietlow Turgasen. She moved with her parents to Manitowoc as a two
year old child. Helen grew up and attended schools in Manitowoc, graduating from
Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. She also attended the University of Chicago. She
married Elton R. Baruth November 28, 1947, at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
She is a member of First Lutheran Church. Helen was an avid bird watcher.
Survivors include her husband, Elton; two sons, Edward T. Baruth and his fiancée
Lynn, Two Rivers, Andrew A. Baruth, Manitowoc; one daughter, Jane T. Carter,
Mideleburg, Fla.; also surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren;
one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Arthur and Mary Jane Baruth, Manitowoc,
Arlene Tugarson, Manitowoc, also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frank Turgasen.
Memorials will be appreciate to First Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Public Library.
Relatives and friends may gather with the family after the memorial services in First
Lutheran's Fellowship Hall for Lunch.
Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Services, Manitowoc is assisting the family
with funeral arrangements.
