PETER BARTA, 66, DIES TUESDAY OF HEART ATTACK
After a six weeks illness, Peter Barta, 66, well to do Two Creeks farmer and
a director in the Tisch Mills State bank, passed away yesterday at the family
home at Tisch Mills. He suffered a heart attack. Funeral services will be held
Friday morning at ten o’clock from the St. Mary’s church at Tisch Mills and
interment will be in Evergreen cemetery here.
The deceased was born at Carlton, Kewaunee county and when a boy removed to Two
Creeks with his parents. He was married there to Miss Alvina Schultz, in 1894
and always resided on the farm in Two Creeks. Besides serving as a director on
the board of the Tisch Mills State bank he was a member of the Modern Woodmen
and the Moose order. His widow, two sons, Raymond G. Barta of this city and
Calvin at home, three grandsons, two brothers, Albert of Plattsburg,N.Y. and
John of Caco and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Herian of Two Rivers and Mrs. Joseph
Herian of Ashland, Wis., survive.
