LOUISE BAECKMANN (d. 1935)
Mrs. August Baeckman (sic) To Be Buried Here Friday
Mrs. Louise Baeckman, 74, widow of August Baeckman, died today at
the home, 1109 South 13th street, after a lingering illness. Funeral
services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2 p.m.
from the First German Evangelical Lutheran church. Interment will be
at Evergreen.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Louise Keubke, was born in this
city in 1861. She married August Baeckman in this city December 6,
1878. Mr. Baeckman died 12 years ago.
Survivors are three daughters, Viola, Louise and Alvina, all of
Manitowoc; a son Walter, city; and five grandchildren.
The body will be removed to the home Wednesday afternoon from the
Vogelsang Funeral home.
