Charles Edward Keyees, age 84, of Maryville, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012. He was born in the Toqua community of Monroe County. He was retired from the Carr Co TRW and sold cars for many years with Costner Eagleton Motor Co. Charles also worked for many years in the area as wallpaper hanger and painter. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Hilda Keyees; wife, Doris Derryberry Keyees. He is survived by sons, Ed and wife Jamey Keyees of Nashville and Phillip Keyees of Knoxville; grandchildren, Hunter and Hailey Keyees of Nashville; brother, Buddy (Violet) Keyees, Jack Keyees; sisters, Ann (Jack) Niles, Barbara Jackson and Betty (Jim) Dodd; several nieces and nephews. Service will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Sherwood Chapel with Rev. Billy Carringer officiating. The visitation will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m., prior to the service. Entombment to follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Alzheimer's Tennessee Inc., 2270 Sutherland Ave., Knoxville, TN 37919.
