She married Mr. George W. Adsit circa 1861, the son of Yat and Delia Adsit, also free people of color.
George and Alma had ten children: Frederick, Elizabeth F., Florence E., Harriet A., George, Harold, Maryetta, John, Guy and Gertrude.
Alma died in 1889 in Deposit, Broome Co, NY in the forty-fourth year of her life.
George followed Alma to the kingdom of God six years later, dying in 1895.
