Cora Lee Hurte, 62, Charles Street, Newport, died Tuesday at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bens Run on Nov 10, 1928, the daughter of the late Fred Hoff and Hazel Dearth Hoff. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Hurte; two sons, William Lee Hurte, Marietta, and Anthony J. Hurte, Newport; two daughters, Sue Herlan and Sally Schnider, Newport; her mother of Newport; and three grandchildren. She was retired from Consolidated Aluminum of Hannibal. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at McClure-Schafer Funeral home, Marietta, with the Rev. Curt Landerholm officiating. Burial will be in the Newort Cemetery.
